Terms of Service

Terms of Service & Client Agreement

Effective Date: September 19, 2026

These Terms of Service & Client Agreement (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Home Again Concierge (“Home Again,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking, authorizing, or accepting services from Home

Again Concierge, the client (“Client” or “you”) agrees to these Terms.

Home Again Concierge provides household concierge and home preparation services, which may include departure-day services, home readiness services, grocery and household stocking, mail and package collection, vendor coordination, pet pickup and transportation, dry-cleaning pickup and delivery, car wash coordination, plant care, meal preparation, errands, household organization, and other agreed-upon services.

1. Scope of Services

Services will be provided based on the package, service request, written instructions, or other arrangements agreed upon between the Client and Home Again Concierge.

Because every household and request is different, specific services, timing, and responsibilities may vary. Home Again Concierge will use reasonable care in completing requested tasks but does not guarantee that every requested service can be completed if circumstances beyond our control prevent completion.

Any service not expressly agreed upon may be declined or may require an additional charge.

2. Client Expenses

Certain services may require Home Again Concierge to purchase goods or pay third-party expenses on the Client’s behalf. These costs are separate from and not included in any Home Again Concierge service or package fee.

Before incurring expenses, the Client will authorize a spending limit appropriate to the requested service. Home Again Concierge may make reasonable purchases within that authorized amount without obtaining separate approval for each individual expense.

Client expenses may include, but are not limited to:

  • Groceries, household supplies, flowers, and gifts
  • Pet boarding, grooming, daycare, veterinary, or related expenses
  • Car washes, detailing, fuel, parking, and tolls
  • Dry cleaning and laundry
  • Meals, food purchases, and delivery charges
  • Vendor, contractor, repair, or maintenance charges
  • Shipping, postage, and other expenses requested by the Client

All authorized expenses incurred on the Client’s behalf will be billed separately in arrears, generally following completion of the service, and are the sole responsibility of the Client.

Home Again Concierge will make reasonable efforts to remain within the Client’s authorized spending limit. If an anticipated expense is expected to exceed that amount, additional Client authorization will be requested before proceeding whenever reasonably practical.

Receipts or other documentation of purchases will be provided when reasonably available. Third-party pricing, fees, taxes, gratuities, substitutions, and other charges are outside the control of Home Again Concierge and remain the Client’s responsibility.

By authorizing Home Again Concierge to incur expenses on their behalf, the Client agrees to promptly reimburse all approved charges in addition to applicable Home Again Concierge service fees.

3. Estimated Costs and Additional Expenses

Any estimate provided for groceries, supplies, vendor charges, or other third-party costs is only an estimate.

Actual costs may vary based on pricing, availability, taxes, fees, substitutions, delivery charges, gratuities, parking, or other circumstances outside Home Again Concierge’s control.

The Client remains responsible for all authorized third-party charges.

Unless specifically included in a service package, third-party purchases and expenses are in addition to Home Again Concierge’s service fee.

4. Payment for Home Again Concierge Services

Service fees are due according to the terms provided at the time of booking.

Home Again Concierge may require full or partial payment before services begin, particularly when a service requires advance scheduling, purchases, vendor coordination, or substantial time commitment.

Any additional services requested after booking may result in additional charges.

Home Again Concierge may decline to begin or continue services when an account is past due or required funds have not been provided.

5. Access to the Client’s Home

The Client is responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property at the agreed time.

Access may include keys, gate codes, garage codes, lockbox information, smart-lock access, alarm instructions, or other entry information.

The Client represents that he or she has authority to grant Home Again Concierge access to the property.

Home Again Concierge will use reasonable care when handling keys, codes, and access information. Clients are encouraged to provide temporary or service-specific access codes whenever possible.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for delays or incomplete services caused by incorrect access information, malfunctioning locks, alarm issues, gate restrictions, building rules, security systems, or other circumstances preventing access.

6. Security Systems and Alarms

The Client is responsible for providing accurate instructions regarding alarms, cameras, gates, smart-home systems, and other security devices.

Any fines, response charges, locksmith charges, security-company fees, or similar expenses resulting from inaccurate instructions, malfunctioning systems, or undisclosed security requirements are the Client’s responsibility unless caused by Home Again Concierge’s negligence.

Home Again Concierge may assist with scheduling, greeting, providing access to, or coordinating third-party vendors such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners, pest-control professionals, landscapers, repair technicians, delivery companies, or other service providers.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Home Again Concierge does not employ, supervise, warrant, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the workmanship, conduct, pricing, licensing, insurance, delays, errors, omissions, property damage, or other acts of independent third-party vendors.

Any dispute regarding a vendor’s work, charges, products, or services is primarily between the Client and that vendor.

Home Again Concierge’s role is generally limited to coordination and access.

8. Pet Services

When Home Again Concierge is asked to transport, retrieve, deliver, walk, or otherwise assist with a pet, the Client represents that the pet is reasonably safe to handle and has disclosed any known history of aggression, biting, escape behavior, illness, special needs, or other material condition.

The Client must provide all necessary instructions regarding feeding, medication, restraints, carriers, leashes, veterinary information, and emergency contacts.

Home Again Concierge is not a veterinary provider, trainer, boarding facility, or professional animal-care facility.

The Client remains responsible for veterinary bills, boarding charges, grooming costs, emergency expenses, and other pet-related costs.

In an apparent emergency, Home Again Concierge may attempt to contact the Client or designated emergency contact. If immediate action appears reasonably necessary to protect the animal, the Client authorizes Home Again Concierge to seek appropriate assistance, with all resulting expenses remaining the Client’s responsibility.

9. Vehicles and Car Services

When Home Again Concierge coordinates or facilitates a car wash, detailing, maintenance appointment, vehicle pickup, or similar service, the Client authorizes reasonable handling of the vehicle as necessary to complete the requested service.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for damage caused by car washes, detailers, repair facilities, parking facilities, or other independent third parties.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is properly insured, registered, safe to operate, and contains sufficient fuel or charge as reasonably necessary.

10. Groceries, Food and Household Purchases

Home Again Concierge will make reasonable efforts to purchase requested items.

Product availability, substitutions, pricing, quality, expiration dates, dietary labeling, allergens, and retailer inventory are outside Home Again Concierge’s control.

Clients with allergies, dietary restrictions, medical diets, religious dietary requirements, or other specific food concerns must provide clear written instructions.

Home Again Concierge cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or guarantee against cross-contamination by retailers, restaurants, manufacturers, or food suppliers.

11. Meal Preparation

Any meal preparation performed by Home Again Concierge is intended as a household convenience service and is not medical, nutritional, dietary, or therapeutic advice.

The Client must disclose known food allergies or material dietary restrictions before food is purchased or prepared.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for undisclosed allergies, food sensitivities, dietary restrictions, or reactions to foods supplied by third parties.

12. Departure Day Services

For Departure Day Reset and similar services, Home Again Concierge will perform the tasks agreed upon with the Client.

These may include removing trash, clearing perishables, washing linens, tidying household areas, adjusting lights or thermostats, watering plants, checking doors and windows, and other agreed-upon tasks.

A Departure Day Reset is not a professional security inspection, home inspection, property-management inspection, housekeeping service, or guarantee against burglary, leaks, appliance failures, fire, pests, weather events, utility failures, or other property damage.

The Client remains responsible for securing the property and maintaining appropriate homeowners, renters, automobile, pet, and other insurance coverage.

13. Plants and Landscaping

Home Again Concierge will use reasonable care when watering or tending plants according to Client instructions.

Home Again Concierge cannot guarantee the survival, condition, or health of plants and is not responsible for plant loss caused by weather, pests, disease, prior condition, inadequate instructions, irrigation failures, environmental conditions, or other causes outside our reasonable control.

14. Mail and Packages

Home Again Concierge may collect and place mail and packages in a designated location when requested.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for packages or mail that are lost, stolen, damaged, misdelivered, or removed before Home Again Concierge arrives.

Home Again Concierge does not guarantee delivery schedules or carrier performance.

15. Client Instructions

The Client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely instructions.

Home Again Concierge may reasonably rely upon information provided by the Client.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for losses, delays, incomplete services, or additional expenses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unclear Client instructions.

16. Changes and Additional Requests

Clients may request changes or additional services, subject to Robin’s availability.

Additional tasks may result in additional service fees and third-party costs.

Home Again Concierge is not obligated to perform tasks that are unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope of services, unreasonable, or beyond Robin’s capabilities.

17. Scheduling and Arrival Times

Scheduled times are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise.

Travel, traffic, vendor delays, weather, store availability, emergencies, and other circumstances may affect timing.

Home Again Concierge will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays but does not guarantee exact completion times unless expressly agreed in writing.

18. Cancellations

Because Home Again Concierge reserves time specifically for each Client, cancellations should be made as early as possible.

Home Again Concierge may establish cancellation charges for individual services, packages, holidays, high-demand dates, or reservations requiring substantial advance preparation.

Any non-refundable purchases, vendor charges, reservation fees, or other third-party expenses already incurred remain the Client’s responsibility regardless of cancellation.

19. Property Condition and Pre-Existing Damage

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, defective appliances, plumbing problems, electrical problems, roof or water intrusion, pest conditions, malfunctioning equipment, structural issues, or other existing property conditions.

Clients should notify Home Again Concierge of any known hazards, fragile items, unusual property conditions, dangerous areas, or equipment requiring special handling.

20. Valuable and Sensitive Property

Clients are encouraged to secure cash, jewelry, firearms, prescription medications, financial documents, collectibles, sensitive records, and other valuable or restricted property before services begin.

Home Again Concierge should not be asked to handle firearms, controlled substances, illegal items, or unusually valuable property unless separately discussed and expressly agreed upon.

21. Emergencies

If Home Again Concierge discovers a condition that reasonably appears to require immediate attention—such as a significant water leak, fire hazard, property damage, pet emergency, or security concern—we will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client.

If the Client cannot be reached and immediate action appears reasonably necessary to prevent further harm, Home Again Concierge may contact emergency services, building management, a veterinarian, utility company, security provider, or other appropriate party.

Unless caused by Home Again Concierge’s negligence or wrongful conduct, costs associated with such emergency response remain the Client’s responsibility.

22. Weather, Emergencies and Events Beyond Our Control

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, wildfire, evacuation orders, power outages, road closures, natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, vendor failures, transportation interruptions, or emergencies.

23. Limitation of Liability

Home Again Concierge will use reasonable care in providing services.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Home Again Concierge will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services.

Home Again Concierge is not responsible for losses caused by third-party vendors, retailers, delivery services, pet facilities, contractors, manufacturers, utilities, carriers, or other independent third parties.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

24. Client Responsibility and Insurance

The Client is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for the residence, vehicles, pets, personal property, and other assets involved in requested services.

Home Again Concierge’s services are not a substitute for homeowners' insurance, renters' insurance, automobile insurance, pet insurance, property-management services, professional security monitoring, or other appropriate coverage.

25. Communication

The Client authorizes Home Again Concierge to communicate by telephone, text message, email, or other agreed methods regarding requested services.

Clients are responsible for keeping their contact information current and providing an emergency contact when appropriate.

26. Privacy and Confidentiality

Home Again Concierge understands that providing services inside a private residence requires trust and discretion.

Client information, access information, travel information, and household details will be treated with reasonable care and will not be intentionally disclosed except as necessary to provide requested services, coordinate authorized vendors, comply with law, or respond to an emergency.

Additional information regarding personal information collected through the website is addressed in Home Again Concierge’s Privacy Policy.

27. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Home Again Concierge reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or terminate services when a request is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, unreasonable, outside the agreed scope of service, or when required payments or funds have not been provided.

Home Again Concierge may also decline future services when the working relationship is no longer appropriate.

28. California Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

29. Changes to These Terms

Home Again Concierge may revise these Terms from time to time as services evolve.

The version in effect at the time services are booked will generally apply to that booking unless the Client and Home Again Concierge agree otherwise.

30. Acceptance

By booking, requesting, authorizing, paying for, or accepting services from Home Again Concierge, I acknowledge that I have reviewed and agree to these Terms of Service, including the requirement that all third-party purchases and expenses be funded by me in advance.
